when i think about moving to my dreamland of LOS, reading something like this makes me wonder how secure i'd be there in the long-run.

Could easily happen - especially the "LB's aren't welcome" - thing, with this over-stupid Thai government (the worst they had since 20 years, but the all the ricefarmers and rednecks on this planet just love strong hands who hold their cocks when they have to pee) - but in the end T.I.T. (This Is Thailand), nearly everything is possible.... b
But what the heck, you could be killed by a bloody truck any day, when you're crossing the street. I'd rather have had a smokin' threesome with two LB's before - especially if it's illegal!!!

The HBO documentary brought up some interesting facts. They said a Buddhist teacher believes that everyone will one day be reincarnated as Ladyboys and there are estimated to be over 300,000 Ladyboys in Thailand.
