Help needed?! dsl/high speed

Question for any ex pats in Thailand:

My profession is Radiology. Which is nice because I can work anywhere in the world with high speed internet (T1/DSL) capabilities. Anyone know about the quality of high speed internet in Thailand? What is the max transfer rate commercially available? Costs reasonable? Is the system stable or down alot?
