I've perused all the predictions; watched all the progastinators on ESPN, NFL.com, etc etc and can see that no one has a freaking clue as to who is going to win Sunday........

Now after seeing where I stand and what the people ahead of me picked I see what I have to do to catch up and thats pick the Panthers...........actually I was going to pick them anyway but it does add another reason to pick them.


Pittsburgh Steelers at Denver Broncos

A really tough game to pick since I wouldn't mind seeing the Bus get back to his home town for the Super Bowl. Even though he stabbed my Wolverines in the back several years ago and went over to the darkside with the "Puking Irish" he has always been pretty much a class act and has assisted his hometown a great deal over the years. At any rate I really feel that Big Ben is coming into his own and Jake Plummer is liable to self destruct at any time. Denver's D is going to play the Steeler's O a lot tougher then Indy's did and Plummer isn't going to try and play offensive coordinator on the filed like Peyton Manning does. I've got to go with the home team here and see Shanahan making another trip to the BIG ONE!!!! Denver in a tight one.

Carolina Panthers at Seattle Seahawks

Seattle is probably the most underrated and under appreciated team in the playoffs. Shaun Alexander is healthy and Hasselbeck is tough as nails. On the other hand Carolina is down to their 3rd string running back but they have Steve Smith and Jake Delahomme and Nick Goings is probably the best 3rd string running back in the NFL. As I said earlier I need to go with Carolina to create a tie with Pla and Monkeyman but I was probably going to pick them anyway.

I have a feeling we are in for the best confrence championships in ages, besides the confrence championship games usually are better then the Super Bowls anyway.

I hope so anyway and I hope the Boss don't catch me sneaking my TV into the office to watch the games (5 AM and 8:30 AM here in the ROK. To summarize:

Denver over Pittsburgh

Carolina over Seattle
