The news today is that the Dept. of Justice has asked major search engines for a log of porn queries. It seems all but Google have complied.

So far "personally identifiable information" is not collected, but I think that's pure bullshit.

    Stay tuned.
Retired the top 12.  Need a new dirty dozen.

Update: The new list is coming together: Nong Poy, Anita, Nok, Gif, Liisa Winkler, Kay, Nina Poon.  Is it possible to find 5 more?  Until then, GGs:  Jessica Alba, Yuko Ogura, Zhang Ziyi, Maggie Q, and Gong Li.

ATS was the only Ladyboy site approved for use by the Taliban members and Bin's been using his Satellite dish to get ATS in his cave for the past 5 years.

I watched a FOX Network news story that explained how Employers and Universities are Using search engines ie; Google to find out if potential employees or Students are members of Offensive Forums and or Pay websites before they make any Final Offers for Employment and Student Scholarships.
Business owners have already been doing this, it was just a matter of time before these Fucking Poloticians figured out they can do it too. Out with the Poloticians, and in with the Businessmen.

I'm not too worried that my future employer is about to find out I spend all my spare time on the Website; ((( BARN YARD ANIMALS LOVE YOU.COM )))

Howard Stern One Of The Internet's Most Searched

                    January 18, 2006 2:00 p.m. EST

Ayinde O. Chase - All Headline News Staff Writer

Waltham, MA (AHN) - Lycos, Inc announces Wednesday the Lycos 50, the fifty most popular Internet search results from week to week. The recent media frenzy surrounding Howard Stern€™s launch on Sirius Satellite Radio, and reports of marriage propelled him onto the list of top Internet searches.

Following his recent debut on Sirius and windfall salary, searches for Howard Stern are up 345-percent, placing him on this week€™s list.

Stern who mentions his model girlfriend Beth Ostrosky frequently on his satellite broadcast also propelled her name up 170-percent. The jump in web searches follows rumors last week that Stern was allegedly planning to tie the knot with Ostrosky. Stern has vehemently denied the rumors.

Nearly half of Stern searches specify searches for Sirius, with the most popular Sirius-related search query specifying Sirius stock price.

                            Hang on a second.

I don't mind political discourse and I'm not defending any specific adminsitration or party, but I can't stand when subjects are all mish-mashed and confused.

This porn search log has nothing to do with the Patriot Act. nothing. They are completely unrelated.

This was also not ordered by Bush or Ashcroft or Cheney. Ashcroft isn't even the Attorney General anymore.

This information was requested by the Justice Department as part of a finding of fact in relation to research on renewing or altering the COPA. (child online protection act).
(Now, now might argue that the JD is acting under order from the administration, and I won't necessarily disagree with you).

The COPA was overturned by the Supreme Court, something you should all be happy about.

The purpose of the finding of fact research is to determine whether or not private filtering software actually works as a deterent to children accessing porn online.

Microsft and Yahoo did both turn over information, but it was only search requests and results. There is no personally identifiable information in the results.

AGAIN - let me reiterate that I'm not debating anything here. Just trying to sort out some facts. I'm all for people table-thumping their opinions, I just like to see things be clear and not have mental mud.
