Good bands

Just Wondering if you guys knew if there were any good tribute bands knocking about in BKK, Pattaya etc

There is Superb Beatles tribute band called "The Better" that play at O'reilly's Irish pub next to Patpong ( ive seen them 10 times at least, truly great ) on a friday and sunday night , and I have seen the Elvis gig, but im looking more for the Nirvana, Thin Lizzy and Guns and Roses sort of stuff

There was an excellent 7 member cover band playing at the Hot Tuna in Pattaya when I was there last year. These guys were great and could play anything and sound just like the real band. I was really blown away at how good these guys sounded. It was like I was at a G&R concert.. then they did Clapton and sounded just like him. Everything rock these guys could play.

Sounds like the Band I heard on Ko Samui a few years ago. Just like Bam said, fucking fabulous. I was watching the guitar player real close to see if it was him or his "tape player," and he could hang with anybody. A very talented guy.
A little while after the show started, about half of the Thai army showed up which kind of freaked me out a little, but it turned out to be one of the Kings daughters wanting to cut loose I guess. I kind of wished she just stayed home.

Pattaya

Just past the Tiffany Show building going north theres a great outdoor/coverd Rock and Rock stage + bar. It seats about 100 but its never packed. The band there were great and played Metallica , Deep Purple and other rock Anthems....This is a real proper rock venue and not the usual cheapo Beer Bar Band set up...The singer always parks his Harley D in front of the stage ....

I was with my LB friend Am who hates heavy metal ..but what the fuck its my party.
