What a crock of a game. Seattle was robbed time and time again. I'll admit that Pittsburgh played an exceptional second half, but this should have been Seattle's game.

the seahawks got fucked worse than the average drunk punter in thailand. refs took away at least 14 points during that game. steelers are still a great team. if seahawks had to lose to anyone then it could be much worse than the steelers. although that game was like playing against two teams at once (Steelers and the refs).

Awwwwh, complain all you want to.  O.K., go ahead and take Bens Touchdown away, they still would have kicked a field goal.  And go ahead and give seattle a touchdown when the recievers second foot hit the goal line pylon.  The score is 17 - 17.  You can't give seattle the other touchdown in the Endzone for PUSHING OFF the defender.   This happens every Superbowl, the fans of the Loosing Team say they got ROBBED.  Lets face it, NEITHER team dominated.

What disappointed me ?  The commercials.  I can't remember a superbowl with worse commercials.
What the hell happened ?  They ALL were so bad, I can't remember any of them.

I've heard from a few Steelers fans I work with that even they agreed Seattle played a good game and that a few of the calls are debatable. However I will concede that neither team dominated, which is good because it turned out to actually be an interesting games. I hate watching games where its a total blowout and the conclusion is already decided before half the game is over.

As for the commercials, there were some pretty awful ones this year. I did like the Careerbuilder.com (Monkeys? At least you don't work with a bunch of jackasses) and the FedEx one. Those were pretty clever IMHO.

The game came out the way I expected it to...even with the refs making some questionable calls. I guess because this was the first time in years I didn't have anything 'at stake' on it like a little money, or team bragging rights, it was predictable...but not as much fun to watch. I can relate to Randyman getting excited when the score was 20 to 10 and he had 0 and 0 in the squares pot...he must have forgotten about the 99.9% chance that they were going to make that extra point. I can tell you from experience that the only way they would have missed it is if I had had 1 and 0... klunk...off the uprights!!! ...and damn...I need a new TV set.
As far as the commercials...what are they now ...$ 2 million a minute...I think that we could all get together and come up with some better ideas for a lot less money than these advertising agencies are charging. The Fed Ex cavemen and dinosaurs one was OK.
And Pigdogg, I think they did censor some of Mick's lyrics, but it's hard to tell. I'm glad he took an extra dose of geritol...he can still jump around like he did when he was a kid.

Relpax, I've also noticed the unusual amount of sports commentators in my local area talking about the game. I genuinely think there are a lot of people out there, not just Seattle fans, who thought that some mistakes were made by the refs. Heck, even some Steelers fans acknowledge that. Oh well, better luck for your team next year Relpax!

yeah, the refs have been kinda awful the last couple of weeks. you would think that the biggest games should have the most seasoned refs, but it seemed like these guys were like the keystone cops. quite sad.

as for Alexander, yeah it is highly likely they are going to let him shop around as a free agent. hopefully there will be a glut in the RB market next year like last. it is my impression if he does not get LT (SD Chargers RB) dough he will probably be back. this is even more likely as the colt are probably going to lose edge. strange thing is the seahawks seem more interested in signing hutchinson than alexander. what exactly is the point of signing one of the best guards to keep a great line.....but have no one worthy of blocking for? strange. that being said, alexander is not the prototypical west coast rb. namely he is not a great reciever out of the backfield. all the major spread/west coast RB were great catchers. then again if you can run 1.8 k then you get a pass for not catchign the ball much. :P all in all i would sign him and throw in my future first born.
