Robbery suspect flees, crashes septic pump truck

Police were combing the Newbury area last night looking for a man who allegedly robbed the Newburyport Five Cent Savings Bank before driving a septic pump truck the wrong way on Interstate 95, crashing the tanker into a wooded area and fleeing on foot.


At 11 p.m., the man had not been apprehended, but State Trooper Thomas Ryan said identity of the man was known to police and believed an arrest was imminent.
The man, allegedly wore a mask and showed a handgun during the robbery, which occurred around 7 p.m. at the Storey Avenue bank. After he fled in his companies septic pump truck, Ryan said, a State Police trooper spotted the vehicle in Newbury and began to follow it.
As other units joined the pursuit, the truck made its way onto South Street in Georgetown and then onto Route 97. It then headed onto Interstate 95, traveling northbound in the southbound lanes, Ryan said. During the chase, the truck crossed over the median and crashed into trees lining the northbound side of the highway, just south of Central Street in Newbury. The robber then abandoned the truck and fled into the woods.

Things I really love doing, nomally cost and don't bring money! In most of the cases you waste precious lifetime for a few bucks. People tend to live as they would live for 200 years and ignore the time restrictions. Fact is that this game has an open end - tomorrow or in 50 years - who knows!
