Low investment business for teerak

Let's say you're living in Thaialnd with your girlfriend.  It would seem that her labor plus a small investment on your part could get a business going.  And I do mean small investment cause it'd be easiest in her name.

Now much depends on her intersts and of course your interests too.  Besides money, the value added by the farang is being able to market the business to other farangs via the internet.

So what businesses do you think would work.  Laundry?  Internet cafe (on the high end for an investment in her name)?

I was thinking of a Thai massage school that offers one on one training.  Target customer would not be a sex tourist but a new age type that could get individualized instruction and a certification of sorts plus a vacation that would be cheaoer than massage teacher training in the West.

Any ideas?  a 7/11 is out of the question!

About two years ago a Ladyboy that I had been dating on and off for a few years wanted me to finance her in business. She wanted to open a little shop in the Chatjuchak Market and sell Spa products. Things like scented soaps, shampoos, skin care products, scented oils, things along that line that were all made in Thailand. She researched what would be needed, rent for a stall, the location of such stall, the initial cost to get merchandise into the shop. She even drew up a design for her logo and business card. She thought that I would be able to work with her as I could entice the Farangs to purchase the products and she would deal with the Thais and the Japanese customers. She spoke very good Japanese as she had been an escort for Japanese clients who fancied a turn with a Ladyboy. Alas, we parted due to my inability to commit to a long term relationship. She, however went ahead with her idea, got some Jappo to bankroll her and now has a thriving little business. She works only three days a week and is very happy with the results. I think that it would have worked out for both of us.

No way that a stall at Jatujak would pay for both, unless you are Thai or want to live Thai-style. Good locations where you make money with farang are the main shopping malls but the rents there are like crazy! Also, internet cafes and laundries just don't pay off. Know a few who've tried but it was just never enough money in those kind of business. The people who are seriously successful over there stayed in the business they came from. I know a couple of guys who started there some 20-30 years ago and really made a fortune in the textile business, either openend own factories or agencies, after working there for a couple of years for some majors. Although any kind of production went down after the Vietnamese and the Chinese dumped the market in the last 10 years, it's still a reasonable option. Or do some trading. Producing or buying in Thailand and selling it to the west. I don't know any successful guy who did it the other way round and sold something to the Thais. The other thing is real estate. LOS is still a very promising market, but there you need some serious cash.
Perves like us should stay with what we can do best. My recommendation here would be the famous ladyboy lounge/ club. Nice, classy atmosphere, good music, not too loud, a little dancefloor, small separees, sexy shows, the girls don't approach you - you approach them! Not those quick and dirty trash cans at Nana or Patty. A real club where guys like us could be private, have fun and don't have to rush out within 10 minutes, because you can't stand the music or the unbearable hassle with the girls. Of course it's a nightclub biz and you have to pay off the brown boys or whoever bloody Thai comes along, but still, if you have the right contacts and the concept is good - it'll work!

Three Men Charged With Sex Crimes At Clay Bike Trail
First Suspect Sentenced As Investigation Continues

Clay County sheriff's investigators have arrested three men as part of an ongoing investigation of illicit sex acts at the Black Creek Bike Trail that runs along U.S. Highway 17 on Fleming Island.

The men were arrested by undercover officers in separate incidents over the past five months.

In all three cases, police said the men propositioned or exposed themselves to an undercover deputy who then issued the suspects notices to appear in court.

Those arrested are Ronald MacDonald, 53, of Jacksonville, Michael Fallin, 56, of St. Augustine, and Alan Goodner, 44, of St. Augustine.

MacDonald was sentenced last week by Clay County Judge Richard Townsend to one month in the county jail. At sentencing, Townsend emphasized that this sort of criminal behavior will not be tolerated in Clay County.
