    Ats calendar

    Just curious as to why more people don't use the ATS calendar. I've used it before with some success, but it seems like a hit-or-miss as I know there are several people in LOS or going to LOS who haven't posted their trips up (not that they need to of course). No obligation to use this great tool but just wondering why more people don't use it.

      Would highly recommend it for first timers who are travelling alone. As read from your trip report DP, it can be intimidating for newbies. I remember my first time in Nana alone. Suffice to say, the fear factor was way up, and I grab the first LB i came across that talked to me and certainly, with experience now, I would not have done that. Cost me 3000baht for a shitty time, with a LB i didn't particularly found appealing, and got bad service to match.

          Ah, the price of knowledge!
          Hey we have all learned from out mistakes, certainly I have.

          Having a few years on most of the members I have learned in Asia "white hair" has it's respect We know what we want and (most important) have the money to do it.

              Hmm...I've noticed a slight uptick in calendar use. Coincidence? I think not.

              Glad to see more members using this helpful tool, especially first-time or new travelers.

                  I always knew that the calender feature would be used less than other forums, but as has already been mentioned, it can be a great way for people to meet up if they are new to the scene.

                  What works even better though is the PM system. A promise of a couple of beers and I'm on the next bus to Bangkok!
