Same problem for me,living and working in south China but not speaking chinese it is impossible for me to find any lb action here. That's why every 2 months up to LOS for a few days.From Macau only about 16 ‚¬ one way with Air Asia.But I should appreciate if anybody here can help me on some lb action here in the south (Guangdong province)

Well, most of you seem to prefer pre-ops to the posties. The posties are the ones who make the news. A pre-op is probably considered pretty shameful until SRS, actually.

I bet that if you hang out in the gay bars long enough, an early stage LB can be spotted, and then you can ask whom else she might know. I saw one or two at a gay bar in Beijing. It wasn't worth it, though - I was short on time and found my way to other LB haunts, where I met one postie, and one probable postie.

Learning enough Chinese takes only a few minutes. Learning how to communicate takes hours or year - up to you. I got along with a bit of Chinese, but I've had lots of experience in dealing with people who don't speak English.
