Well, some pretty entertaining games so far, don't you think? Except for Duke's meltdown...which takes a possible 3 points away from thaibound and me right from the start...   never know how these 19 and 20 year old kids are going to perform...

is that nobody wants to do anything that might accidentally change the fate...well, there's probably nothing to that...but just in case...

Wow...the last few games have been very good. can't believe the zags dropped the ball and that duke was basically shut down. also, unbelievable that uconn had to go into overtime against univ. of washington? amazing...

I am still in a state of mourning since u dub (u of washington) lost the heartbreaker to uconn. that being said, i still put uconn in the final four, but my boys were just so close it hurts!

The end of regulation in the uconn game was exciting.  if texas goes all the way, and uconn goes at least as far as villanova, i think i win 3 grand in my  office pool. strategy in big pools ismuch different than in small pools.

Perhaps the basketball gods were angry with D_P for not finishing his trip report before his next trip. Heck, this is like "Who shot JR" back in the eighties....we'll have to wait until the next season to find out just how pissed off those ladyboys were...
 Thanks to Piggdog for starting this and to those who participated. With the nasty defense they have been playing in most of these games, Thaibound's 147 and under looks damn good. This tournament has been a real bracket buster...no number one seeds! Who's left? Florida, UCLA, LSU, and the cinderella team, George Mason. Who's going to win? I'm still pulling for George Mason but my pick would be LSU.

we suck so bad at this we could probably do a 'final four only' bracket and STILL get them all wrong! george ladyboy mason in the final four?? gotta love it. finally, the word's gonna get out that one of america's founding father's was actually a ladyboy and all because of a basketball tournament!

for you doubters - i know they keep changing their mascot at george mason - a gorilla, a patriot, a whatever! - but it's supposed to be a 'gunston' which - although it has recently been redefined in a more socially acceptable manner - is originally pre-revolutionary slang for 'cross-dressed hunter', i.e., ladyboy!
back when they used to dress nicely before camping out on brokeback mountain.
