    Mango Sauce

    This is not normally something I would comment on  -  but in this case I really don't like the attitude of one of the party's involved.

    Some of you will look at this and think I'm wasting my time and I'd be inclined to agree with you  -  however  -  the UK has  -  over about 450 years  -  stumbled it's way to freedom of speech.
    The US managed it a bit faster but it had a little help!  This argument involves that concept  -  and something nearer to the spirit of this forum and JaiDee's website  - Thailand.


    Some of you may have read about Google censoring search results in China.  Now it has a new policy  -  though I suspect this is not policy  -  but stupidity on the part of one individual.
    If Google does not like the alleged content or titles of the pages! on your site they withdraw advertising.  Big Deal you say  -  it can be worth $1000's to a website each year.  It IS a Big Deal!


    OK what am I rambling on about?    This!    Mango Sauce

    I have no connection with this site.  In fact he sometimes makes dispariging comments about ladyboys which I don't agree with.  
    BUT he appears to know his subject  -  his writing is hilarious  -  and he has not written anything that contravenes any laws or offends any sensible adult as far as I can see.

    Have a look at the site and if you like it  -  help this guy out  -  it will only take 10 minutes of your precious time.
    If Google pursues this policy then Mango Sauce will not be the only website that you can no longer look at.


    Stogie if you want to remove this feel free.

    I typed in Mango Sauce and the web site came out number one on the Google search engine. If Google decides they don't want to advertise on the actual site it's up to them!

    I too like the Mango Sauce website but you can't make advertisers advertise on your site - even for free!

    As for Mango Sauce being "dead in the water" well... it's listed in every major search engine so I think it's up to the webmaster whether or not the site dies. If he updated more than twice a year that may help!

    If he had read the above and gets his website in line with Googles VERY CLEAR requirements then he would have been OK.

    It appears though, that he just wants to boost his ratings with a sob story.

        Mind you - to give the bloke credit his articles are extremely well written and the powers that be at Google do seem to have been heavy handed in this case!

          Read the entire post and - more especially read the page concerned.

          I agree with the guy - someone called Scott (I suspect on the basis of an automated search result) decided to withdraw the advertising.

          Then it devolves into the 'loss of face senario!

          OK at the moment it's a storm in a tea cup. But like I commented where does it stop?

          Anyway if you're bored - why not spend 10 minutes winding up Google

            Blimey - I'm surprised that Google has anyone advertising! It's pretty clear before you sign up that pages that include ping pong balls flying out of a prostitutes cunt would be a transgression of the clear Google policy. He fucked up and he's paying for it!

              Sent Google a scathing email which will probably not even get read! Never use Google anyway!Every other search comes up "page not found"!They Suck!!!

                I've read some of the Mango Sauce stuff on ladyboys before. While the site owner isn't too keen on our friends, he does say some pretty funny stuff.
