Can Poker Stars be accessed in the LOS to the degree of playing free hands?

Not on my vacation.
But since 5 bucks an hour is a decent wage in the LOS, it occured to me that i could support myself playing online poker.
I's be very interested to know if the site is accessable.
And if I'm able to stay connected. It can be tested by playing for free without any money deposits.

Well I summoned up the courage and downloaded and installed it on my computer... gonna give it a test drive now!

Well, I registered and got my validation code and I'm all set to play. Unfortunately I haven't got a clue HOW to play, but just to let you know I can if I want to here in the LOS!

Because it's a program that you've download and are running locally on your computer it will be making its own socket to the internet and not through a browser. Doubt very much you can easily point it to connect through a proxy and it's most likely is using a Secure Socket Layer (Encryption) for communications which is a good thing from LOS!(PigDogg @ Apr. 22 2006,11:22) thank you Stogie!

Just realized I can test Bam's point about the proxies that on my computer at home. Anyone have the name of a proxy server or two to do the test?

Ha ha now I can teach you Stogie. This morning I won about $140 by placing 4th in a tournament I entered for $6. There were about 280 entries and even with that win I am way behind!!! LOLComment
