In Bangkok, the final four models meet Thai designer Pichita Rucksajit who sends them on a challenge to travel via tuk tuk (Thai taxis) to meet and impress a number of local designers. Tyra talks with the models about the Tsunami that hit in 2004, and reminds them of the importance of respecting the local history and culture when modeling internationally. Later, the models pose beachside in bikinis, photographed by Nigel. Creative Director Disaya Prakobsantisukh serves as guest judge. Special guests include Kai Kawtong and Rai von Bueren, Christy Bayle and Eric Crane.

I prefer tuk tuks to taxis; they're more fun. But negotiating with driver is a pain.
They seem to want to charge more than a cab. I'm willing the match the cab's price but feel stupifd paying more.

Any advice for dealing with tuk tuk drivers?

The best advice on dealing with tuk tuk drivers is not to deal with them period! Aside from the novelty factor (you have to do it once), there's no real reason to take a tuk tuk over a taxi. They might be marginally faster, but the chances of losing one's life isn't worth the risk in my book! Besides, they're all crooks as you've pointed out. I've never gotten a tuk tuk driver to match the price of a taxi, or anywhere close.

I watched America's next top models first... it was good too ... they did a shoot on the beach in Phuket.

I PVR'd Amazing Race and watched it at 9:00. Lots of Thai TV Tonight!

I would normally agree with this DP but during songkran in Khao San Rd you would have walked for miles to find a taxi as all the roads were closed and only tuk tuks were close by. Being freezing cold and saturated from head to toe I was willing to risk life and limb to get back to hotel for a warm shower.

I think my mental capacity was probably not at its best ever after being out in the sun all day drinking.

watched the episode but a bit dispointed that it went too fast and the route gone out of bangkok for most part. well, it's prime time, can't really expect them to show inside Nana. Or roadblck - teams must pick an LB out of 100 GG ... That pathetic MOJO team finally lost! I don't know the logics of them two hugging and teary with joy though. This guy doesn't realize there are a whole lot more clay pots that bitch's gonna drop for him?

I was off center in calling her a bitch . Still in the process of dodging that bullet (to not getting married). So I guess it's reflection of my current mood.
