They're just looking for something that'll get the brownshirts to vote for them. Their failures on every topic are now so commonly known and embarrassing that they're grasping at straws. Hell, the only people who support Bush now are the ones who think he's the second coming of Christ.
On the other hand, you only need to fool enough of the people enough of the time.
As for Americans marrying LBs, it's not a problem to marry post-ops, in any state, as far as I know. And who needs anything else?
Retired the top 12. Need a new dirty dozen.
Update: The new list is coming together: Nong Poy, Anita, Nok, Gif, Liisa Winkler, Kay, Nina Poon. Is it possible to find 5 more? Until then, GGs: Jessica Alba, Yuko Ogura, Zhang Ziyi, Maggie Q, and Gong Li.
Hey POL, there is a hitch if the lb does not have her ID changed over to female. Therein is the rub for overseas lbs who want to come to the USA and get married. No female ID for them if they come from Thailand or any other country that does not allow changing of ID.
For US lbs who are citizens and have their ID changed, then you are right.
well takes a lot of money just to change name or change sex on the birth certificate and also fighting for it with a lawyer in public is also hassle which even tooks many years till they study the case......well pre-opt can't enjoy the benifits of it upon changing identity..and bribbing is also dangerous..if caught by the authority never risk on doing it or its the only thing i would be deported.....well if they want me to become a post-opt im not yet ready for that sort of thing.........i love my life as a pre-opt......
well those asian LB who is now in states are either come to the US as a gayman who has a job waiting for them inside the country...and hide for years as to transform and grow thier hair long...or those asian LB who got married with the european guys and devorced...and have thier citizenship in europe and hold european passport......or they live in the states with thier asian family......who works there

Are there a lot of Europeans marrying to LB? And are there a lot of European gay men married and REALLY never going out of wedlock for sexes?
Honey you forgot who we really are. Why would I want to change from a female prisoner guard to an LB prisoner gurad? The very first thing that happens in most marriage is they stop fucking. Why in the world do I want an LB or GG or ape or robot to have claim to half of my asset without me wanting to fuck her? Long term, maybe, extra money GFE maybe, but no no, now you know why we don't really care about same sex marriage. Fighting a battle that has no reward is just pointless.
I never paid much attention to the gay rights movement in Canada and the right to marry the same sex. However one day I was thinking about what if I did marry a Ladyboy? The possibility is there that I just might some day. I always think of Ladyboys as girls however on their passport it does say their true sex and it would be considered a gay marriage even if I'm married to a Ladyboy... so I'm glad and proud to be living in a country were we have equal rights, and being married to a Ladyboy would not be a problem here.
So Snejana, when are we getting married? I think you will like Canada
For all the talk of "brownshirts", I dont recall any while growing up in Nothern California or living here in Iowa now. The fact is, once you are a year in transition, you can apply for changes in your Driver's License and Social Security cards. With these two, you never need use a birth certicifacte again!!
If a foreign LB wants to marry an American, here's what you do:
1) get a travel or work visa (nominally work for the guy you want to marry if you want to)
2) get under a doctor's supervision for the "transition"
3) after a year, apply to have your visa changed
4) marry and have the surgery or not; your choice.
All this Nazi SS language needs to be saved for North Korea; not North Amercia.
Despite all efforts to tighten consular control of visas after 9/11, it is still fairly easy to get visas in countries that have US consulates and embassies. If you are out in the rural areas, it will take some doing. But, the PI and Thailand have great relationships with teh US and access is not too difficult.
Addendum to previous post:
Go to San Francisco to get all the leagl docs worked out. Most of the government officals there will help transgendered/gay people to get the stuff they need to function in society. It is only when examples are presented for the purpose of judical precident do problems arise.
Regardless how the topic was phrased, I think the real agenda is to make it easy for some good intent people to come to join us in US, while recognizing the threat we are faced after 9/11. I find it it strange that this becomes a marriage issue? same sex or not, frankly how long do you think an LB want to stay married to you after she is here and got her green card? we were just saying (in another thread) there were not too many youngsters visiting LOS because of the money issue. now you got her here how long do you think she will wait to run to DP and his 20 somthing firends?
I have millions of disagreements with how we deal with immigrations but that's a totally different issue than gay marriage.

making it basically impossible for a ladyboy to get a tourist visa was something that took place long before 9/11. as long as we have up tight right wing bible thumpers as the base for the party in control, you won't be seeing much progressive forward thinking decisions made in regard to immigration.
if we had anyone with brains in charge of ins or whatever the abbreviation is now, they would realize that thai buddhists are about the safest people you could give toursit visas to from a national security standpoint. but their rationale is that the thai ladies or ladyboys, anyone from a modest income level basically, will get here and think it soooooooooooo fucking wonderful that they won't go back after the visa expires. damn, we could even agree to sponser them, be responsible for them in every way and it means not a thing to the powers that be. canada is lucky that the right winger bible thumpers don't pack as much political punch up there.
It's my understanding that being transgendered should have almost no bearing on whether you get a visa or not. I could be wrong, but from what I know about friends and families obtaining visas is whether or not you are at risk of overstaying your visa. The main factors typically would include financial situation, type of employement, family connections in the USA and at home, and age.
I'm a rough-ridin', hootin' and hollerin', ladyboy lovin' cowboy! Bang bang yer dead!!!
