By the way Snejana...never said I have had bad experiences in the PI and I have been there quite a few times. I love areas like Boracay, Palawan, Davao, and Baguio but anyone who has dealt with Filipinos compared with Thais or other cultures on the net can back up the things I have said in the past.

In my opinion, the more experiences with the Philippines the more you learn about the place first hand and the more likely you are to hate the place. The Philippines doesn't grow on you. The longer you stay around the Philippines the more you understand how many con games are going on. Most Philippinos have an inferiority complex and they compensate for this by thinking and actinging like they are superior. The whole society seems biased toward fantasyland. They watch Darna and superheros fiction and seem to think it is real and they are part of some cartoon master race. Laughable really. And so so sad.Comment
