The Mighty Koreans are going to give the Frenchies a good hiding. That's right, you saw it here first. Sven gets it wrong for one reason and one reason alone gents.... In not technical terms hes a muppet.... The english press managed to fuck up a really good chance of us geting scolari, now he would have made england play proper football as aposed to the boring style of play that the swede has forced the boys into.. Yeah we all say its all about results but i for one reckon the 2 most boring matches ive seen this world cup and ive watched every last one of them has to be the 2 england matches.... not saying we have to play like how spain did the other day but jesus have some imgaination how many times was that ball punted up the field for unfit own to chase, i thought i was watching Bolton or Wimbledon play

I think you are being really unfair. What would be said if they played open football and lost?
Unfortunately, results are everything and i am happy for them to grind out wins.
Lets not forget that 10 T&T boys held Sweden to a 0-0 draw.

thats a good question mate. If they played open football and lost 5-4 id be proud cos we tryed but if we played shitty football and lost id feel even worse But as u said its about results, i just wish wed play attractively...

I disagree. In not allowing a single goal I'd say they played very well. We all know what the England team is capable of and we can see that they are not performing well at the moment, but you can't play every game like this (and keep winning!)

England are competitive and I think tohey will play their best games against the best teams they face...

Argentina on fire!! They destroyed Serbia 6-0

Argentina has given the absolutely best performance of any team in at least the past 3 world cups.

There is now doubt now of who is the top contender to win this tournament. I really can't see any team who can stop them.

In 14 prevuiuos games against Australia Brazil has scored a total of 12 goals.
Even the most ardent sports critc and professional punters have all agread that Brazil will score no more the 3 against Australia.In all likely hood and reality a draw is the most probable out come with over 95 % of all professional sports bettors nominating that result.

England may have to throw the game against Sweden to avoid the Germans and the Argies... not sure the players can do that though....we will know Tue morning.

Rooney is a super hero . His presence alone scares the opposition and now we will improve, no doubt.... lets face it we cant get any worse. I hope he gets the Argies choking on their tapas at some point.

I think Owen needs another chance and i would bet that he plays 4 4 1 1 with Rooney behind Owen. Crouch will be sacrificed if we progress IMO.  Just a gut feeling
Owen will come good Sven so listen to the Tomcat and take heed.....

Also it wouldnt surprise me to see Lampard dropped at some point so Lennon can play. Gerrard and Lampard are to much alike and dont seem to gell.

Well 2 big surprises today - GHANA, that great soccer nation beats the Czech Reuplic 2-0 and Italy can only manage a draw against 9 man USA.

This world cup just gets better and better.

Australia to beat Brazil tomorrow? I certainly wouldn't put a bet against it they way things are going now.
