Ok this is how sport betting usually works. I asked for odds and u offered 100/1 for Australia to make semi finals. I asked how much u said $20.00 u would take. So that means u could lose $2000..00 and all i lose is 20 dollers. Sprread betting is what i think u r taklking about and that is differnet again and is uusally on basketball or american football.
Thats why a few guys thought u were mad and wanted the action. on't worry about the bet its too much for a poor web master , lets just have a$20.00 even bet for the fun of it and no one gets hurt. ok Be happy

I reckon us aussies should be happy if we get past the group stage. I beleive we will. We should beat Japan and draw to crotia.

Stranger things have happened though and Guus has the form and the history to make strange things happen. Guus departure from the aussie squad once the cup is over has left me a bit bemused though. I know that he is a roving coach, but to come out and acept a job in Russia before a ball has been kicked in Germany is a little odd me thinks.


For the record...my money is on Italy! Forza Azzuri!!! (BTW I am an Aussie with an Italian Background....Go Aussie, GO!)

Smart money says Brazil, a good long shot says Serbia (ala greece 2004) but i say South Korea. About time an asian country did the business. Of course I wouldn't be putting my house on it, but they have my support.

For the Aussie fans: your still more credible than us Yanks. We got in by beating the likes of Grenada, Guatemala, El Salvador, and Trinidad & Tobago. I'm pretty sure the total populations of these four countries could fit into one of the burroughs of New York, and we barely beat them.

I just hope we can tie Ghana and not get killed by Italy.

HMMM the boys from brazil are none for just scrapping though the qualification rounds due to there massive egos.
Japan are up and down.

the way i see it may come down to two teams have 2 wins australia and brazil so how can beat the final team in the group by a few goals more than the other will get first place. Either way if australia second we play france next round if groups go the way they should or we get another major euro team if in first.
