  • What music do you listen to?

    Hi,

When I'm surfing the 'net I usually have some music on in the background.

I'm listening to Bryan Ferry and Roxy Music, right now.
I've recorded four albums onto two cassettes and they're looping continuously. Very easy listening.

    Roxy Music - Avalon
Roxy Music - Flesh & Blood
Bryan Ferry - Boys & Girls
    Bryan Ferry - Bete Noire

What music do you listen to when you're surfing the 'net?

I like all kinds of music. (Obviously not rap or opera, though!) In my younger days I was a music enthusiast but I don't listen to much these days. I'm more likely to download radio plays and and audio books these days.

Pink Floyd was always a big favourite along with Neil Young, Steve Stills, Emerson, Lake & Palmer, Alice Cooper, Joe Jackson, Supertramp, Yes and about 1,000 more besides!

Like Stogie Bear there are so lots of good groups and I have more thousands of cds, but my fav groups simlar like S.B., maybe without having in my tops Joe Jackson and the in later years getting to soft Supertramp. And my absolute no.1 will be always Pink Floyd, following by Who, Doors, Led Zeppelin, Midnight oel, Golden Earring, Deep Purple, Genesis (with Peter Gabriel), Bob Marley, Peter Tosh, Guns n`Roses and Rolling Stones (from there got my son his name Keith Richard)
At the moment I like to hear often Red Hot Chilli Peppers, the new cd is great.
              Djai jen jen si !

I listen to virtually everything...from country to rap to reggae to hip hop to (gasp) Thai, and everything in between! If I think it sounds good, I'll listen to it.

Current iPod playlist includes E-40, Jack Johnson, Blue October, and Nelly Furtado.
I'm a rough-ridin', hootin' and hollerin', ladyboy lovin' cowboy! Bang bang yer dead!!!

Guy wearing a Beer Chang T-shirt bounds out of the subway this morning. I yell, Yo Beer Chang, but the guy doesn't hear me, I see he has a plug in his ear,

So I start looking at othe rpeople and 6 people in a row have plugs in their ear.

Is everyone tuning out the world?

                          Led Zep:

Whole Lotta Love:  GREAT song filled with incredible sexual energy when performed live!

Stairway To Heaven: IMO one of the most overated songs in rock history.
