  • Website Like Amazon In Thailand

Is their a website in Thailand like Amazon where I can buy English books? Thanks.

Hi Pigdogg - hope your move to Thailand is going well so far!

There are not many places set up to sell English books on the internet like Amazon, but Asia Books might be worth a try - however they cannot offer the same prices Amazon does.

Asia Books, Bookazine, Kinokuniya .... if they don't have, they'll organize pretty much everything you want.

..... and amazon is shipping to LOS as well!

Make sure you check out the shipping charges !!

The lack of good bookstores is at the top of my peeves list. Although the Kinokuniya in Siam Paragon and Emporium are 'decent' and will order a book for you; its not the same as having a Barnes&Noble or Borders nearby.

Other options incude the occasional trip to Singapore or Hong Kong; and relying on the good will of others to bring in books.

( ps. If you like trashy SciFi, I may have the largest library in Thailand )

As Mai-Kee says Amazon.com ships to Thailand and their prices make up for the postal charges to LOS.

I've bought books from them a couple of times and had them shipped to Thailand with no problems.
Only thing is they take 2 -3 days from the US to Thailand and 2-3 days from Don Muang to Sukumwit
