Same song: only the good die young.

"You know I work all day,
To get you money to buy you things,
And it€™s worth it just to hear you say,
    You€™re gonna give me ev€™rything,
So why on earth should I moan,
€˜Cos when I get you alone,
    You know I feel okay."
seriously pig headed, arrogant, double standard smart ass poster!

I know its Rod "the bod" Stewart "Every Picture Tells a Story" from "a Nod is as good as a wink to a blind horse"

        Here are two for you

"Kick out the Jams Mother Fuckers!!!!"

        and

"Be the First on Block to have your boy come home in a box"

It's good to King........no matter what the pay

Courage is being scared to death__and saddling up anyway

Billy Jaffe, Radio Voice of the Thrashers:
”I have absolutely No problem with Ohio State. It has a beautiful campus, and for a Junior College it has really great Academics.”

"Gentlemen and ladies, 'Those Who Stay Will Be Champions' is for you too. It's for every Michigan fan that's out there. When the going gets tough, you don't cut and run. It's not the Michigan way. If I heard it once from the old man, I heard it a thousand times -- when the going gets tough you find out who your real friends are, and that's why we must stay. Because there will be championships, and this staff and these kids will bring those championships here."

The second one is "Fish Cheer" by Country Joe McDonald and the Fish

I have no idea about the first, so I'll leave it out there.

Probably a bit too territorial for all on here although I think if I was to leave it out there long enough some other 60's freak would know it............

That would be the infamous MC5 a group that used to play with Iggy Pop and the Stooges in the Detroit area......... It was actually played on AM stations back then as Kick out the Jams Brothers and Sisters........ I saw them with Iggy, Bob Segar, Frigid Pink (Who did a fab cover of House of the Rising Sun) and Iron Butterfly in a great summer concert series in Ann Arbor MI

Here is a bit easier one............

Breakfast where the news is read
            Television children fed
            Unborn living, living, dead
            Bullet strikes the helmet's head
            Attached Files

Easy, more Doors - Unknown Soldier

Love music out of Detroit, obviously Motown but some good rock too.

I've seen Iggy Pop (not the Stooges), have met Bob Segar, ran into Alice Cooper at a Thrifty drugstore (ok, I know, Ann Arbor), and am absolutely a huge White Stripes fan though Jack White has moved to Nashville. I went to all three Raconteurs concerts here in L.A. Oh yeah, let's not forget the Motor City Madman. Ted is an abslute rock n roll animal.

Ok, back to the 60's and something from my hometown....

"Cowgirl in the Sand" Wow, Neil Young. I didn't know it, had to Google it. Love Neil, jjust saw CSNY about 2 weeks ago, fantastic concert. I had a Neil song up here that just got skipped over. So I'll give it another try:

"Look out mama there's a white boat coming up the river"

Neil Young............who has been descibed as a "Guitar God" ...............

                      Powderfinger

Saw CSNY a few years ago and a long time ago when they were really flourishing

He also has a fantastic anti-war website

Somewhere in a lonely hotel room
there's a guy starting to realize that eternal
fate has turned its back on him.
