From Electro/House and R&B (especially in the car and in the clubs), over some chilly lounge Ibiza tunes, Soul & Funk classics from the 70ies, Samba&Cuban stuff (esp. Mendes, A.& J. Gilberto, Chucho Valdez, Hilton Ruiz), a lot of Jazz from the 50ies&60ies (esp. Miles Davies, Coltrane, Chet Baker) and some classic and opera (esp. Mozart, Mahler, Schubert, Verdi).
Can't live without music, books and movies!!!

.... oooops....... sounds like a couch potato......

I have about 16Gb of music on my Ipod and this covers a big range but mainly rock, blues and dance/house music. Mostly modern stuff I grew up with Pearl Jam, Radiohead, The Tea Party, Chili Peppers and some heavier stuff like Tool, Rage Against the Machine. Other stuff like the Eels and the Cure (I blame this on my sister who was obsessed with them in the Eighties).

Being   I have a fair bit of oz music like Nick Cave, Paul Kelly, Ed Kuepper, Hoodoo Gurus, Something For Kate, Powderfinger, Cat Empire etc.

Thanks to my parents I got into some seventies music like Neil Young, Jethro Tull, the Doors, Iggy Pop, early Van Morrison, Leonard Cohen and Tim Buckley.

I listen to a lot of dance/house music as well (it's great when I'm working as it blocks out the distractions) Chemical Brothers, Faithless, Massive Attack, Underworld, Ben Watt , Salmonella Dub.

I like the classic Blues like R.L. Burnside, Muddy Waters, John Lee Hooker, Nina Simone.

Also a mixture of other stuff, I normally like artist who can create their own sound and music. I hate commercial music that is pumped out to a script they know will be successful, lets create another Britney Spears clone that can can just mime along with the lyrics. At the moment I can't stand the poncy soft cock  music they are playing on commercial radio the likes of James Blunt, Jack Johnson, David Gray etc.
I don't get it, is this a magic show?

I don't have a dedicated music player (yet) but I have 3.5 gigs on my phone!

2 Gigs - music - everything from Floyd to 50s Jazz (500 tunes)
1 Gig - radio plays and documentaries
            .5 Gig Howard Stern shows!

And I'm damn glad to have then all! British TV is about the worst shite I have ever seen! I actually have to leave the room when that fag does the lottery and as for the soaps! What the fuck has Emmerdale turned into!!!

At least in Thailand I can pretend not to understand that rubbish! Here it seems that swearing chefs is the pinnacle of peaktime entertainment!

Thank heavens I can block all that utter rubbish out with a nice docco from Radio 4!

Am I the only Fuck who Likes John Denver?
I'm sitter here watching Public Access T.V. and John Denver is on.
No, I never purchased a John Denver C.D. But the Fucker does Rock.
Pretty sad story John has to tell. Poor Fucker.
