Yeah a lot of people confuse "Has evolution occurred?" with the question, "What is the mechanism of evolutionary change?" Darwin's theory concerning how evolution takes place is but one of several attempts to account in natural terms for evolutionary change (descent with modification). Disproof of Darwin's theory doesn't change the fact that evolution has occured.

I figured that eventually someone would bring up the question of why I contribute to this forum. The answer is that I have an attraction to Ladyboys. Now, I probably would bore the crap out of you if I gave you some Psycho-babble reason for why I have this attraction. It wouldn't change the fact that I have to address the reality of it.

Christians are fallable people; as everyone is. Generally, the average Christian has a hard time dealing with either one or a handful of the commandments. My relationship with God leads me to the conclusion that if a man faithfully follows the commandments but struggles with his sexuality and sexual expression, then there is enough forgiveness for not being perfect to allow him into heaven.

I hope you see from my admission above that I have tremendous empathy for the Gay/Transgendered community. Anytime any person is persecuted because of their sexuality, it is an evil, unchristian act. It seems that some contributors to this thread have been truly upset in this way by people claiming they speak for God, and it is horrible whenever this happens. Those who would do such a vain and foolish act should first take the plank out of their own eye before criticizing the speck in yours.

The Bible is clear that God loves all people and wants to be in a relationship with you. If you decide that is not something you are interested in, that is between you and God. However, the idea that because you have certain sexual desires you are prohibited from heaven is destructive and evil. It is only a total rejection of God that sends anyone to the Perdition.

Tomcat, as long as the treatment didn't involve embryonic stem cells or fetal tissue, I would definitely use it and also pray. There was an ancient Hebrew king that prayed for deliverance from the Assyrians, and then had an underground canal dug so there would be fresh water for Jerusalem during the siege. I would see medical treatment in the same light.

Tropical, the Bible says sexual promiscuity of all types is sinful just as lying, stealing, and coveting is. It doesn't matter if you are heterosexual, gay, or transgendered because all who sin need forgiveness (which is everyone). And, forgiveness can be had simply by asking God for it and following God's commandments to the best of your ability.

If you were refering to me personally, I have fallen and sinned in many (maybe all) forms, but I get back up and try my best. And, as long as I dont turn my back on God, the Bible says that is enough.
