College Football is over and sadly so is the World Series
But life does go on and if any other state can match what the State of Michigan has done in this decade in sports (forgetting the sad ass Lions) and considering that the Tigers just 3 years ago were on the brink of setting a single season record for losses I for one as a lifelong Tiger fan am proud as hell!!!
Now on to the football picks once again this week we have two stragglers........Randyman who has been on a tear the past two weeks and Mirimark once again. You guys have about 12+ hours to get in here.
So far this what we have
Colts 7 Broncos 3
Jets 7 Browns 3
Saints 10 Ravens 0 (oh what a difference a week makes)
Panthers 6 Cowgirls 4
Bengals 7 Falcons 3
Patriots 7 (21.1) Vikings 3 (18.5)
Could be a great Monday nighter!!!
In Closing
Thanks Tigers for keeping the summer exciting!!!!!

"Gentlemen and ladies, 'Those Who Stay Will Be Champions' is for you too. It's for every Michigan fan that's out there. When the going gets tough, you don't cut and run. It's not the Michigan way. If I heard it once from the old man, I heard it a thousand times -- when the going gets tough you find out who your real friends are, and that's why we must stay. Because there will be championships, and this staff and these kids will bring those championships here."
New Orleans Saints(5-2) at Tampa Bay Bucaneers(2-5)
Saints by 1
Stogie I swear I am not messing with you by putting the Saints on the board week after week but since i base the games by the spreads, the Saints generally come up with close games. At any rate I think last week's blowout was just a hiccup on the Saint's path to having aplayoff game in the Superdome this year. The Bucs are in the process of putting Chuckie on the unemnployment line although given the injuries and poor play he's had I don't think it would be justified. Heisman Bush hangs on to the ball and the Saints regain their winning ways............
My pick is the Saints
Game # 2
Kansas City Chiefs(4-3) at St. Louis Rams(4-3)
Rams by 2 1/2
The battle for Missouri pits a Chiefs team that is finally adjusting to Huard at QB against the fastest show on turf. Larry Johnson should pile up some yards against a suspect Rams defense so you fantasy players(Football fantasies not Sweet Ladyboy fantasies) play him this week but Bulger will pull the Rams thru........
My pick is the Rams
Game # 3
Denver Broncos(5-2) at Pittsburgh Steelers(2-5)
Steelers by 2 1/2
What has happened to the World Champs??? My best guess is a combination of pisspoor motorcycle riding, poor pass protection, and the loss of a Bus. The Broncos have to be stinging from last weeks last second loss to the the Colts and will be jacked up for this one. They will continue the demise of the Steelers despite Jake Plummer.........
My pick is the Broncos
Game # 4
Indianapolis Colts(7-0) at New England Patriots(6-1)
Patriots by 2 1/2
The Colts may have overcame the Patriot hurdle that they had last year by beating them in Indy but this one is in New England and Brady looked incredible on Monday against a decent Viking team. Look for a last minute barn burner and New England may end up regretting not paying a few more bucks to Vinaterri. Still........look at my avatar
My pick is the Patriots
Game # 5
Cincinatti Bengals(4-3) at Baltimore Ravens(5-2)
Ravens by 3
The Bengals have been a major disappointment this year after last year's cinderella run. Chad Johnson finally found the end zone last week but the Bengal's D let Michael Vick carve them up and now they go against the old pro at carving up defenses this week Steve McNair. The Bengals really need this one and I think Palmer will find both Chad and TJ at least once in the end zone.........
My pick is the Bengals
Monday Night Bonerus Game
Oakland Raiders(2-5) at Seattle Seahawks(4-3)
Seahawks by 7 1/2
Didn't congress pass a law that there won't be any more dogs on Monday Night Football?? What the hell are the Raiders doing on Monday Night then? Raider nation and 2 wins in a row aren't going to be nearly enough. Even without Shaun Alexander and Hasselback the Seahawks should cruise........
My Pick is the Seahawks 27-10
There we are Guys and Gals...........have at it!!!!!
It's good to King........no matter what the pay
