It's easy to say that Americans have a crap sense of humor because of the dreadful TV that they have over there, but if you actually meet and talk to Americans then more often than not they have excellent senses of humor.

Showtime and HBO has made some of the best television ever.....just look at Six Feet Under, the Wire and the Sopranos.

Showtime and HBO has made some of the best television ever.....just look at Six Feet Under, the Wire and the Sopranos...

Six Feet Under is quite simply the worst that HBO has ever done... although it does get an award for the loudest onscreen kissing! Every episode has at least a couple of slobbery squelching snogs to make me retch in my chair! As for the simple minded one dimensional characters with as much gumption as a coat hanger...

Never seen The Sopranos or The Wire, and now I won't have to if they have been lumped together with the excruciatingly painful Six Feet Over The Top!!!

Saw an episode of CSI Miami with a chum back in the UK and I have to say that The Teletubbies has more interesting plotlines and definately a lot more custard! Who is that twat in a suit stroking his chin all the time?

I'm sorry to say that almost all TV conjured from the minds of todays young talent is way way way beneath my dignity to sit through. It's infantile bollocks.

Shit if you think Six Feet Under is shiite, then please enlighten us to what you think is good television.   Maybe you are more caught up in the nostalgia of shows in the past but I think the best television is made now thanks to pay networks.   I cant see how anyone can look me straight in the eye and say that "Lost" isnt one of the most complex and well written shows in the history of television.

Other shows in the past that I think are superb are:

So here are a few things that I think are over rated and worthless. Add yours and feel free to disagree with each other!

First off.. I'm getting sick of how great PI ladyboys are. They ain't. They just speak better Engish!

Next up - Bruce "Strap your hands 'cross my engines" Springsteen. Him, Radiohead and U2 are fucking crap. Bundle them with Sting as the most pretentious garbage ever inflicted on the record buying public.

Don't get me started on that twat John Lennon. Another miserable talentless wanker with the creative spark of a cushion!

Thai food. No, not that pasturised sanitised buffet you get in the west but the real thing... "Oh, you haven't been to Thailand till you've tried their Moo Pad Gobshite or their Pad Pid Poo Poo or their street shit on a stick specials!" It's fucking third world shite.
