Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan

I am busting so hard to see this movie! It more than likely won't be allowed in Thailand and America (and a few others) will chop it to bits, so I'll be scouring the torrent sites for a 'screener' version if I can find one!

Has anyone seen this yet? If so - what did you think?

They reviewed it last night on the extended newsnight review show and to be honest i dont get it! and they showed a lot of clips as well...... . I doubt if there is any middle ground here....either love or hate....

Its a politically incorrect fare for the politically correct mind...Both of the trendly liberal luvvies on the program liked it so i guess that really counts me out.

I bought three different Ali G DVDs in Bangkok, about 2 years ago. Just have a look in Pantip Plaza or Sukhumvit road, where the guys are selling the movie DVDs.

Movie it's niiice!!! Next time I will come to Thailand and make movie about ladyboy prostitutes. They very beautiful! Only problem is that they don't have nice moustche like in our country!

Borat reminds me of Balki Bartokomous from the 80's TV show Perfect Strangers... and also somewhat of Taxi's Latka Gravas. Both of them were from fictious countries in those days.... however not  Kazakhstan Boarat!

I saw it yesterday, and I was surprised at how many seniors were in attendance. Lots of nervous laughter but I had no qualms as I busted a gut. There were a couple of dead spots, as some of the skits ran a little too long, but the "running of the Jews", and the "fine dining in Georgia" were side splitting. The people in the skits were actually set up, filmed, and then informed of the joke. Then signed a release for the movie.
The naked wrestling I think I could have done without
