By now I should know better than to get into these kind of arguements, but I will try to be grownup about what I say.

 You (well, some) guys are fucking idiots.   I am actually in a humerous way, surprised that anyone out there can be upset, shocked or offended by what Coulter says. After all she's the only Republician who has the balls to say what she wants and spout off like a Democrat. Proof you say? How about Al Gore? John Kerry? the racist asshole; Julian Bond??  Chuck Schumer? Nancy Pelosi? The racist John Lewis, Dick Turbin, Jimmy fucking Carter??  Maxine Waters, Charlie Rangel, John Conyers, Cynthia A. McKinney (a personal favorite) What these folks say is slanderous if it wasn't political.
 If you ask me (and I'm sure you're not.. )  America has 2 partys of collective thinking morons. Nobody has any backbone to lead by their beliefs (look what happened to Joe Leiberman..(he'll win as an independent) I can see as a Jew he may have a different view on the war as most dems, but he was stabbed in the back by his whole party for not towing the line. Republicians?...pussies. The only decent/interesting campain anyone has run in recient memory, like it or not has to be the 94th congress when Newt Gingrich put together the "Contract with America."
10 platforms they ran on and they didn't delve into the negative but ran on these ten principals. 8 were eventually signed by President Clinton. Clinton Gore and Kerry amoung others are regulars denouncing the US on the foriegn circuit. Some political speech borders on treason. This flak about Kerry disparaging the troops? Completely overblown. He did a stupid thing yes, but it WAS in the line of jokes he was telling.
 It can be fun to throw it back and forth but in reality I hate both partys. Nobody does a fucking thing for anyone but themselves to stay in power. It's all calculated, polled, and as scripted as can be. America?? we're fucked if collectively as a country we don't fight back, but we're to busy being brainwashed into believing this bullshit.

This arguement would hold some water if there was a third party that was more then a punchline for most political jokesters throughout the country or a third party that could actually win a significant election........hasn't happened in the past century or so and won't again anytime soon.

Sitting here watching the republicans slowly losing more and more of their stranglehold on the country's testicles the more it looks like the country is winning. The complete sweep will happen in'08 when the 4th reich is sent packing. The two party system is what this country has and it isn't going away in my lifetime or anyone else who is old enough to read this forum and we can bitch and whine about the corruption in the government but the only resource we have is to continue to vote and hope that maybe.........just maybe the people we vote in will actually get it.

Thats where we are at right now and my only suggestion is if there are people who think there is another platform and/or party that can do better they better find someone who has a clue to push this country i the direction they want it to go. I'm all fro changes but it has to be done intelligently and I've yet to see a third party platform that makes that corelation.

I doubt if those thoughts are on factcheck.......but they should be.

Good point. I'm just saying that I see it comming from both sides. Politics is a blood sport, and as much as I can hope, you're right saying any 3rd party ain't going anywhere. If there is one thing the big 2 will agree on, it's going to stay a 2 party game.

America's nearly always been a 2 party country. The 2 parties just keep changing.

You boys don't seem to be old enough to remember when the Democrats were the party in control of the South for 100 years. Until those little shenanigans involving race and the Republicans, such as Thurmond and Goldwater. That was just one of the more recent seismic shifts of the parties.

No doubt in grade school you learned of some of the other crazy parties the country has had.

H. Ross Perot did pretty damned well with the popular vote in '92. Teddy Roosevelt tried a 3rd party run in 1912.

It's always conceiveable. It's just hard. And then there are those crazy rules in New York.
