  • The most annoying thing about ladyboys

Ok, I am kind of posting this to get you guys out of the "engagement fever" ... but really ...
Now these ladies are certainly very lovely, but they are still human, and no human can be perfect. I just wonder if any of you guys have these "moments" that you just want be left alone. Of course, this usually happen after sex.
My number 1 take is the shallowness - gradually I start to learn this has little to do with the language (please correct me if you think otherwise). It's impossible to conduct any meaningful conversations. They only care about their looks, and nothing else. Sometime I worry if all of them would commit suicide after 35 . What kind of life is this ...
And what make this especially unbearable is the fact Thai hookers stay with you! You figure it's only a little more to get her all night so why not LT. And inevitable you had to go eat at the foodland etc .... this creates these moments that you must yak about something ... sometime after saying these "narak mak mak" crap for the 200 times of the night I wanted to cry.
What's your rant? want to share?

What  annoys me is all of em'  seem so Indifferance about the whole thing.

I guess thats the differance between a real loving realationship and a realationship with whores.

It took me a moment to understand this but then once I did - what wise words!
Yes, they don't care whatever you say or you do, everything is OK, as long as you pay.

I assume that this thread is talking about ladyboy prostitutes here...

So - let's assume you ARE talking about prostitutes...

What annoys me the most? The sad lack of motivation and initiative.

But that could probably said of almost all young people these days!

I don't really know enough of them to be annoyed by them and so long as they keep their distance I'm fine with them.

Yes, I was talking about bar girls but... sir you just enlightened us, why not expand the scope here. I personally have no experience outside of p4p but I believe there must be some common traits even the next door LB can demostrate collectively to touch our nuerves....

Lack of Motivation and Initiative = equals; Indifferance.
            exactly my point.

I too was under the assumption he is talking about whores.
I know for a FACT there are Ladyboys in Thailand that are " NOT " working girls who are genuinely into monogamy.

This lack of initiative is a sad trait of character indigenous to (almost) all Thais. The only ones with any level of individualism and ambition are a very small percentage of the better educated and these are few and far between.

Education is a real mess here in Thailand.

Most young people live for the moment and good luck to them. Old age is for old people!

But; when I am with some of these pretty young girls I often think about my own missed opportunities when I was young and so probably hanging out with them sometimes reflects badly on myself. Plus it's difficult to say "Save your money - You'd better, because it's over for you in about 5 years!"

I love hanging out with Cindy. She's the brightest and most interesting person I know in this scene, but when she's 25 I wonder if she'll still have her innocent charm and free-spirited attitude...

Stogie, quite right. If you look at most of the successful 'Thais' they are actually Chinese Thai. Thais just seem happy to live in the here and now.

Having said that, maybe it's not a bad way to live. Disengage the brain and live for sanuk!
Back in the scene after a couple of years away. And no that does not mean I was residing at her majesty's pleasure. God it is good to be back among the girls with that bit extra!

They obviously have a different clock in their heads than we do...

But I'm still too much of a virgin...I don't find anything annoying about ladyboys...Although I sure some of them find me pretty annoying...

I do think this "mai pen rai" trait is the root of all evils. OK, you can get very philosophical to say they might really have the better way of life. I am not entirely convinced. And I do know for me, as an individual brought up with a totally different thought system - always plan and work for the future, etc. I can not bear to see young people just have no problem fuck away their lives.

just because our philosophy/society (fear? rationality?) forced us to work and slave away our early years so that we could comfortably fuck away our later ones, i am not convinced we have made the better choice.

i do remain disturbed by a growing universal society aimed toward instant gratification, but i'm no longer convinced that disturbance is created by a moral righteousness  free of personal envy.

when i catch myself in the mirror, carousing with a beautiful thing half my age, it is not the young beauty whose actions i question. for, if nothing else, she is presenting beauty and pleasure to a soul who has long sought both and who has learned to appreciate them to a degree her peers could not yet approach --  and if she were not willing to "fuck away" her youth, i would have no chance at such sublime redemption at my middling age.

i don't disagree that cacaphonic and insipid conversation can be incredibly irksome, but i have suffered that at the hands of much less beautiful souls.  it is a trivial price to pay to partake in the accompanying delights. more trivial i am sure, then the tolerances challenged by having such beauty give itself to aging flesh, always with a smile, with gusto, with a welcome so warm as to dispatch all fears of insincerity and float, for the moment, for the precious single moment, the emotional self-forgetful moment, into a place of mystery which surpasses all understanding. and which is, thereby, the perfect microcosm for our entire existence. and reason enough almost in and of itself to have been born onto this earth.

I guess I also agree. On this topic, I am swinging back and forth.
Good thing that there are all kinds of people in this world, so we can always double check if we have gone too far on our own ways. I guess the take-away point is just enjoy life. Don't think too much - how do you say that in Thai? It's a nother Thai moto.
