Skype has a new deal for Yanks and Canucks......

15 bucks a YEAR if calling friom your computer to any land line (except pay phones) or mobile phones in the uSA or Canada.

They also throw in a $2.10 credit for othe rinternational calls.  So the basic service is a buck a month.

and of course computer to computer is free anywhere in the world.

your computer already has speakers so all you need is a cheap microphone (10 bucks) and you're ready to roll.

I have Skype and am still experimenting with it as far as webcaming with people in Korea as far as in the states I also have Vonage which give me free long distance anywhere in the US and Canada which is fantastic.

Even with Vonage calling Korea frequently 2-3 times weekly my Vonage bill at its highest has been $49.00
