My name is Fred Nguyen and I wish to clarify a "grey" area. I am the man who has been going with the gorgeous lady, Chompoo. I have spent 6 months in Thailand and during that time our relationship developed into an accepted proposal of marriage.

Hi Fred,

You'll have to excuse many of the forum members being cynical, however more often than not these relationships have limited longevity.

It is not uncommon for many ladyboys to continue to participate in the "pay for play" scene, unbeknownst to their partners or have multiple partners in order to extract maximum funds.

Having met Chompoo, I can certainly understand the way you feel about her, you are indeed a lucky man.

Personally, I believe in the right circumstances such relationships can work out, however statistically they appear to be in the minority.
