What I head about these 2 was they came in as part of a chartered tour group... one thing different about them was their tickets were purchased by someone in Thailand. These girls were not tourists... and why they were killed I think Stogie's nailed that one... they were wacked by 2 Thai hit-men paid for by the Russian Mob.

Interesting to hear that there are more rusian tourists now and less western tourists. All very facinating. Do you think the Thais know what they are in for. It seems to me that the Thais think they can just take in whoever will spend money and have no reprocusions. But as most of us know there are certain groups that are in fact more trouble than others. Basicly I think the corupt nature of Thailand sets it up for these kind of situations. I think that BIB and other officials think that can just do business as usual and dont seem to realize that evenualy they will kill the golden goose.

I have had some experience with the Russians over the years, as I have had two business ventures with them one in Moscow and the other in Kazan the capitol of the Republic of Tartastan. Those dealings were legitimate business's but I always knew that behind and supporting the companies I was dealing with was the Mafia. It is not possible in Russia to be in business without some assistance and the support of them. Let me tell you if they take hold of the European prostitution in Thailand watch out. They take no prisoners, believe me. I will give you some idea of what has happened to these girls, they would have been given tickets for a vacation to Thailand under the proviso that they work off the cost of those tickets and then some in order to get the vacation. They also would have been expected to carry back home across the border items that you can get life for in most Asian countries. When they arrived they refused both requirements. Hence, the outcome. I have been involved with many (legit) business ventures with people from Eastern Europe and the worst to deal with are the Russians. They make the Italian Mafia and Yakuza from Japan look like kindergarten teachers.
