Not to dispute, there may be truth to both, but my understanding is that he is educated in special ed. and tought special ed. students.

I always found him to be a funny guy with a loosey-goosey sense of humor. Laid back, and wants everyone around him to have a good time. Strangely, he's one of my self correcting role models. When I find myself getting up-tight with a group, I just think about how Ron would handle things, and I mellow out and try to just have a good time.

I always got the impression he was a smart guy. I know there is a documentary film about him but I haven't seen it. Anyone here checked it out?

You might be right; I recalled this from an interview of his that I'd read some time ago.

I think he's smart. He got into the business initially to make money, and he's stayed focused and gotten rich. I compare that with someone like Peter North who I think got a number of jobs because he owed people money

I just heard of a 48 year old porn star named Nina Hartley. It's amazing to think that these two are apparently old enough to be parents of new generations of stars.
