In Pharmacology, all drugs have two names, a trade name and generic name. For example, the trade name of Tylenol also has a generic name of Acetaminophen. Aleve is also called Naproxen. Amoxil is also called Amoxicillin and Advil is also called Ibuprofen.

The FDA has been looking for a generic name for Viagra. After careful consideration by a team of government experts, it recently announced that it has settled on the generic name of Mycoxafloppin. Also considered were Mycoxafailin, Mydixadrupin, Mydixarizin, Dixafix, and of course, Ibepokin.

Pfizer Corp. announced today that Viagra will soon be available in liquid form, and will be marketed by Pepsi Cola as a power beverage suitable for use as a mixer. It will now be possible for a man to literally pour himself a stiff one. Obviously we can no longer call this a soft drink, and it gives new meaning to the names of "cocktails", "highballs" and just a good old-fashioned "stiff drink". Pepsi will market the new concoction by the name of: MOUNT & DO.

Thought for the day: There is more money being spent on breast implants and Viagra today than on Alzheimer's research.. This means that by 2040, there should be a large elderly population with perky boobs and huge erections and absolutely no recollection of what to do with them.

Kamagra is the Indian generic version of Viagra, with the active ingredient of sildenafil, or as Snick has posted, mycoxafloppin.

One of the major concerns with Indian generic medicines is their quality control (or lack of it). It has been found that some lots of their medicines can contain no active ingredient, or can be double the label amount of active ingredient. That is not to say that all Indian generic drugs have this problem, but it happens more often than it should.

Caveat emptor! (let the buyer beware!).

Some of the generic Indian stuff is produced by a company that has contracts with the major drug companies to produce there high priced poison.

I have to be honest, this stuff scares the bejasus out of me, along with a lot of other drugs that are available freely through pharmacists. I don't know if it's true but a lady from my unenlightened (non LB) days once told me of a guy who took viagra when suffering from low blood pressure and nearly died as a result.

This seems pretty dodgy to me even as an old fart who can't go it all night anymore (question - could I ever or is this just bravado).

I reckon your best bet is to go long time and take your time, having once again scrutinised the line up from the Guessbar they seem to have the antidote to flaccidity (today's big word)
