The Alienist: A Novel by Caleb Carr

I got this book (on CD) at the local library. It is about the hunt for a demented serial killer who targets "Boy Whores" dressing up like girls. The setting is  New York City in 1896. This is an historical fiction. It is very well done and very entertaining. Teddy Roosevelt is one of the characters (before he became president).
