Comic Format

I developed a comic format for a programmer's comic strip "code" that never got off the ground. I could probabaly adapt it to a weekly ladyboy comic using a variety of stick figures.  Let me know what you think (or delete this post and I will get the message)

I would say just post the rest of your Code strips the ones above are very good.

I especially like the 3rd one  -  I always have an overwhelming urge to kill that clipit thing if it ever pops up on a computer.

Since I have no experience with ladyboys, scripts are definitely welcome. Even comic ideas are great. I can also consolidate several ideas into one comic.

The format is a frame of panels in 3 rows by four columns, which views nicely on most modern screens. I am currently using 2 panels for series title/author and episode title/date. I plan to consolidate these into a single panel. This will allow 11 panels for the comic itself.

The last panel is typically the "punch line". The first few panels typically set up the comic situation. The format is flexible, as long as the action fits within 11 panels.

I am using the GIMP, which is an open source drawing program that is available to everyone. It is getting quite popular:

If you send me a few scripts or comic ideas, I work them up and post them. It will take me a few days

Here are a few settings I came up with. I would love to get ideas to make them more believeable (but not too much more detailed). Currently, there are four: beach, bedroom, cafe and stage. Perhaps there are other settings where ladyboys can interact?

Is there a shop in Thailand that caters to ladyboys and carries an assortment of these necessities?

If so, are there pictures I can see?

I wonder if a ladyboys' Mama San character would be appropriate. Are they older ladyboys or are they older Thai women?

Hello Mesohoney,

I was joking about the shoe shop      Herself (my long term girlfriend) likes to buy shoes  -  lots of shoes    

There are many thousands of shops in Bangkok alone  -  probably 3-4 times as many as there are in any equivalent western city.
But the great majority are small and none that I know of (shoe, lingerie, etc.) cater only for ladyboys.

If anyone knows better I would be interested to hear.

The best way to get a feel is to do a Google search say 'shopping in thailand'


Mamasans in ladyboy bars are most usually older ladyboys but occassionally they are gay men.
There are exceptions where the owner is on site and thus fulfills the duties of manager/mamasan (papasan)

Yep!  You pretty much got the majority of them

The big ones are the standard fare  -  Tesco Lotus (Think Walmart)  -  Central  (Think Sears)  -  and various other large to medium size stores that look very much like what you will see in the west.
