This was perhaps a bad thread to start as how are will we face each other after this?

I think this is an excellent thread - it has been a great reminder why I never want to meet some people on this forum.

i am hot most of the times you meet me in the states.
reason for this vary but mostly because i travel extensively and most of the time not in good areas.

overseas i my not have a peace but i will have a useable weapon of some sort. that is beside just my body and what i have studied.

Why would you write something like this? Does it give you a hard on to try to convince a lb forum what a hard man you are?

sangabriel, you assume i´m pro muslims. Well, guess again. I´m not gonna get into the religious fanatic debate, but you are wrong there.
Having that said i think Michael Moore is a much more sympathetc american than Sean Hannity or his whore Ann Coultard, and think the US would be a better place with the democrats in power, or Nader even. But lets not get political, its boring.

Funny you mention Theo van Gogh and Pin Fortyune, there was a documentary on tv last night, and Pim was visiting Europe. Tons of bodyguards as she has a fatwa over her head. Very brave persons, Theo and Pim, and goes to show what method the muslims think is appropriate in 2007. I think he was stabbed many times and shot with a fatwa on Pim attached to the knife in his throat.

Anyways , don´t worry GW´s days are over soon and things will be better.

He was a gay man and member of the Dutch parliament who was killed by a left-leaning nutter who tried to stop him from targeting "the weak parts of society to score points."

Specifically, Pim criticised Islam (calling it "a backward culture") and favored anti-immigration positions, saying that he desired to close the borders to Muslim immigrants.

I think you may be confusing Pim wtih Ayaan Hirsi Ali.

As a European, you do not have to be pro-Muslim. All you have to do is sit back and tolerate their intolerance, as Europeans are want to do.

I see your point and its valid , allthough like many scared americans you exaggerate. Just like in the wmd issue on going to war.
You seem to be in the minority of educated americans that knows about the world outside the US ( i´m sure you don´t think that all of europe speaks german like my classmates at ucsd did), so it surprises me that you think the muslims will take over Europe any day now. Thats just silly.

Funny how Europeans externalize as they do. Europeans tend to search for the bogeyman in the form of American politicans and talking heads (i.e., your references to Trent Lott and Sean Hannity). These right-leaning Americans do not pose near the danger to Europe as the more threatening problems already lurking within Europe's borders.

The history of Europe is rife with ethnic slaughter. There has been a lull for 60 years and this lull will continue for some time. But Europe is changing and this may or may not lead to blood shed. Liberal Europeans may someday passively submit to Sharia law. But some will not. Considering Europe's fastest growing segment is so religiously intolerant, I fear more for France than I do for Texas.

No. I think he is a narrow-minded nationalist and killer, perfectly in tune with most European politicans of the past. But there will be many more Europeans like him who arise in the future! Like I said, your biggest threats are not from Trent Lott, and it is almost comical that you would bring a has-been and fool like him up. Your biggest threats in Europe are the political leaders who will advocate devisively in favor of either Islam or Europe's Christian heritage.
