  • Femboy Golf Lessons

O.k.   I've been golfing nearly All my life and now I only golf about once or twice a year.   I take much pride in the fact that I can pick up a club after a year and still hit the ball fairly straight about 275yds.

My wife bought me a new set of clubs last night so I took them for a test ride today.
They are with out a doubt the nicest set of clubs I've ever had.  I am making GREAT contact with the ball and still hitting it 275yds but I have developed this massive HOOK to the left.

So who out there can correct this for me ?
It is not in my backswing or my hips.  Its in my hands.
The only way I can straighten it out is by hitting the ball in the toe of the club.   I don't like doing this because then I have to change my stance.

Is there a Ladyboy Golfer who can tell me how to straighten my hook with just my hands and not my body?

O.k. so answer my question then.

How do I straighten it out.
Am I turning my hips faster than my down swing or are my hips Late ?

I guess that would depend if you went for a well hung Golf or one of the smaller ones

Mirimark, JackC posted a trip report when he visited Hat Yai and met a lb (sorry not femme boy) who golfed! Maybe you can take lessons from her next time you visit Thailand!

Here is his post: Southern bell/lb of thailand

I am no expert but I have also golfed all my life and still am only down to a 15 handicap. Nevertheless, I understand a little about swing mechanics. People will tell you to try this or that to fix your swing. This may work but for most amateurs they never really understand why they are hooking or slicing. In fact the root cause of a hook is really very simple; it is because you are swinging from inside to out in relation to the target line when the club face comes into contact with the ball. A slice, which I and most golfers are prone to, is caused by the exact opposite swing path; out to in. Ideally you want the club face to travel straight down the target line in order to achieve a straight shot. Makes perfect sense but like anything in golf it is easier said than done. However until I understood this concept any thing I did to fix my slice was only temporary until something else crept into my swing. So once you understand this you can try things like this http://ezinearticles.com/?How-to-Cur...-Hook&id=60224 to correct your swing path. If you are good at self diagnosis you may be able to figure out what you are doing wrong and fix it. It would be much easier to take a one hour golf lesson and get the pro to help you figure out and correct the problem. If you can't afford or are too proud for this then try taking a video of yourself or a get a friend to watch or video your swing. You may be able to see or your friend may be able to tell you what it looks like you are doing to make the club go off the plane. If you are going to try to fix it yourself it would also be helpful to learn more about the proper swing mechanics. You can get a book or video (try the library) or try watching the golf channel academy which I found to be very helpful. I rebuilt my swing after almost 30 years of slicing the ball. I can consistently hit it 275 yards off the tee with a fade. I developed my own method for fixing my swing path when my slice came back which you may want to try in reverse. I would set a coin about two feet in front of the ball and six inches above the target line and another and equal and opposite distance behind the ball and below the target line. As I swing I try to get the club face to travel along the path between the rear and front coins. This promotes an in to out swing path and in me creates an almost perfectly str8 drive. In you it would only make your hook worse so you must set the front coin below the target line and the back coin above it.

I also find it helps to know this stuff when you are trying to teach someone how to golf. See below where I took one of my ladyboy girlfriends to the driving range who had never before picked up a club. By the end of the bucket I have her hitting the ball about 150 yards str8 down the middle. It is much easier to teach someone who has no preconceived notions about how to swing the club.

By the way I am coming to LOS Sep 19 to Oct 1 and wouldn't mind playing one game in between shagging ladyboys. Anyone who wants to hook up for a round, let me know.

Hips are late, but i can´t say for sure, i never seen your swing. But in general, hooks and draws are usually caused by late hips.

I just finised hitting about a 100 shots. In fact, my hook has been lessen.

It is in my hips & Feet.
I found if I start my backswing just a little away from me and not exactly straight back. And stop Lifting my heels up and shifting all my weight to the ball of my toes on contact of the ball I can fix my problem.

Another thing I found that really Helped.
Is that if I Dip my hips instead of Twist my hips I can straighten it out.

Damn, Did that Last phrase just sound like a Line out of an Old Porno FLick ?
