Well I brew and bottle my own beer and would have to say that a "crown, pressed on cap" is easier and less expensive to produce as the machine that installs the "pressed on" cap is simpler than the one that installs the "twist on" caps. As many have suggested, there are many simple ways to remove a pressed on cap, just be careful and don't knick your knuckles.

What.......no one carries a 159 function Swiss Army knife? Heck even the low rent by the hour motels / rooms here inthe USA all have a bottle opener, usually screwed on the wall right by the toothbrush holder...

Of course I know how to open a beer with another beer and with the bed side table and with my teeth if I have to. The whole point is I should not have to.

Ozzie, go down to the Hilton main bar and STEAL one like any other right thinking Ozzie. For the price they charge your employers to keep you there they can well afford to GIVE you one as a comp.
