Got a phone call earlier this evening from a couple of buddys who flew to Vegas on Wednesday and are staying for the big fight this Saturday. It seems like every yabbo from Manchester has followed their hero Ricky Hatton. Brits out of control due to way too much alcohol consumsion are everywhere. Vegas has never seen anything like this before a lot of the radio stations are claiming. Everywhere Ricky goes he is followed by all his fans who drape themselves in the Union Jack and the Manchester banner. In some of the casinos on the strip it is common since Tuesday to have a bunch of Brits just break into song whether they are at the tables or in the bars. Wow, sounds to me like another Saturday night in Pattaya only a lot more expensive for the punters. Anyhow, does this guy stand a snowballs chance in hell of beating Floyd Merriwether? I hope he is not just another white man's hope in the fight game.

I would love to see Ricky Hatton triumph over Pretty Boy Floyd but.....You only have to see who Mayweather has beaten to take on board the enormity of his chances.

Still, my mind goes back to Lloyd Honeyghan in Sept 1986 who outpointed the then ''best pound for pound'' fighter around, Don Curry.
Before the fight; Curry had refered to Honeyghan as The Ragamuffin Man

The Hitman is a huge fan of United's bitter rivals City and Mayweather posed at a press conference to promote their fight on December 9 wearing a Red Devils top.

I would the hitman to win this one but i have 2 go with my head and not my heart and say that Mayweather is the likely one to win on points, but i am gonna have a sneaky bet that Hatton wins in the 7th. If he can cut the ring down so mayweathr cant run away and throw a few good body shots in the early rounds lets just see if mayweather really has the heart for this fight.

Its complete bullshit, there has been no trouble so far .I watched the BBC news last night and the PC BBC would be the first to report any trouble ...also the Newpapers have said nought.

Yes , plenty of people getting drunk but no trouble above average expected at these places. lets face it Vegas is the place people get drunk with all the free booze they dish out.
