Charities ~ Are you a giver?

Being in the UK for the last few days and watching some of the insanely purile TV has driven me almost bonkers!

But some of the most insulting assaults on my dignity come from the adverts that try to persuade us to give out our money to various charities.

"Just TWO pounds a week - YOU can afford it, can't you?"

Children, cancer and the fucking greenies just can't get enough can they...

But they are just the trendy ones... there are loads of unsexy charities like "Befriend a refugee!" etc... Wacko groups that won't really sustain much public support through TV ads and rattling their tins outside Woolworths!

In Thailand I'm immune to the disgusting cripples and babys that block the streets. I'm annoyed and unmoved by the battery operated amplifiers that shriek at the bottom of every stairway.

This venture-charity is an onslaught at every level everywhere I go... On the streets of Thailand - on the glossy HDTVs of the UK...

They can all fuck off.

Charity begins right in my own back yard... and that's where you can help...

I'm suffering from the grumps a little bit these days on account of my 45 day stay in the UK (which, by the way is only 8 days old!)

This is where YOU come in...

You cant rely on the bunch of traitors in power .... they gave 400 Million to save a bunch of crooks called Northern Rock but wont buy the kit that the Army need to fight the scumbags in Afghanistan

Awww Stogie, you're making me question myself now. I normally refuse beggars point blank which means I should cancel my membership on principle, however, it expires on Saturday and The Gorgeous Kwang makes another appearance on Sunday.

Fuck it! Consider another membership fee on it's way to your grubby little pocket, just don't waste it on warm flat beer up North


Oh, and I do give something to certain deserving charidees sometimes, but not to any ol' cunt that asks for money and especially not to the ones who piss it away on undeserving mofo's.

Well I donate to Oxfam and the Red Cross on a monthly basis. I also sponsor a world vision child. They way I see it if even if only some of the money gets to the right place it is worthwhile.

I do not give any money to beggars off the street however.
