Christmas ~ Yay or Nay?

Well... What do you think about Christmas?

I can't decide yet. Sometimes I like it and other times I don't...

I spend a couple of days with the family and we eat and drink too much, but that's about it, really.

In Thailand it just goes by with nary a whisper for me.

Oh well... there's always Song Kran!!!

Christmas to me is complete bollocks, sure I'll take the extra days off work, get pissed, eat too much and fall asleep watching James Bond on TV but that's it as far as I go.

No decorations, no presents!

I buy family and friends gifts throughout the year if I see something they might like, so Christmas isn't a reason for me.

When people ask why I don't celebrate Christmas I tell them "I'm not religous"
To which they normally reply "neither am I but you have to celebrate Christmas"

Fuc*ing hypocrites imho

Bah humbug maybe, but how many of you Christmas lovers will be at Midnight Mass, or even visit a Church in the next 12 months?

It was mostley a celebration for the kids....
I also don't like the xmas stuff...
I prefer to celebrate a good dinner with some friends without any xmas Schnicksnack...
Gifts for my godchildren and may for 1 or 2 friends....when I am in a sentimental mood.

For me Xmas is about family, eating too much and sleeping in the afternoon. I am looking foward to not having to work over Xmas for the first time in 6 years.

Speaking of Xmas and giving I have 2 free movie tickets with Fandango.com that I can't use. I got them when I bought my new version of Norton antivirus but they are only valid for the US. Apparently if your registered with Fandango all you have to do is enter the code to get the tickets (I'd never heard of it before). Anyway if anyone is interested PM me.
