  • Those who died in 2007

    Michelangelo Antonioni
    Ingmar Bergman
    Alan Coren
    Charmaine Dragun
    Lucky Dube
    Lee Hazlewood
    Gareth Hunt
    John Inman
    Deborah Kerr
    Frankie Laine
    Verity Lambert
    Ronald Magill
    Magnus Magnusson
    Norman Mailer
    Bernard Manning
    Marcel Marceau
    Lois Maxwell
    George Melly
    Luciano Pavarotti
    Mike Reid
    Ian Richardson
    Mstislav Rostropovich
    Anna Nicole Smith
    Werner von Trapp
    Kurt Vonnegut
    Tony Wilson
    Jane Wyman

Ingmar Bergman, Deborah Kerr and Frankie Laine are the biggest losses on that list, at least for me.

Did I miss anyone on this list?

    Late arrivals... and others!

    Benazir Butto
    Oscar Peterson
    Evel Knievel
    Alan Ball

Of that list my three would be Mailer, Von Trapp, and Frankie Laine.

Mailer wrote about ass f*cking, went snowmobiling at the Trapp Family Lodge in Vermont and always liked Mule Train.

Apart from some juvenile emotional moments while watching Antonioni's Zabrinskie Point, of all of the others nothing much hits my memory. In fact, I don't even know most of them who they are!
