Skiing with Ladyboys

[Rockheart]

Thank you so much for these amazing photos.

I used to live in Calgary and Sunshine was my favorite.
Have you ever skied in Japan? I've heard good things from people who have.

This thread made my day, Thanks!

Ps. are you the skier in Shyla Wilds' you tube videos?

I've never skiied in Japan but i have heard the snow is great, maybe some day.
Sunshine is ok but i like Lake Louise better.
I guess you could ask everyone in Calgary that question:
"Sunshine or Louise"?

Yes I am the skier in Shyla's videos. LOL
Shyla will be coming up in this thread...

So the next morning we drove around the mountain to Alleghe which was a much larger town and we parked in the ski day parking.
You can see the ski lifts on the google map on the right hand side which shows how you can ski over.

Got Cake going on the beginner slopes and soon she was going pretty good. A couple fights and small crashes but soon she was pretty good.
Not bad for a Ladyboy who started out in Nana Plaza.

Excellent thread... enjoyable read with some great photos. Thanks for sharing.

That was mid february, i didn't realize that was quite late for skiing in that area.
In Canada it is mid season and probably the best time to ski. Lake Louise goes until May.
Canada has the best snow of anywhere for skiing I am pretty sure.

Cake was sponsored by some guy in Paris and stayed there until she got her French passport and access to the Schengen.
She kept a place in Paris but spent most of her time in Amsterdam where there is a large Thai community.

Originally i met her at Obsessions bar and also helped her through her post op surgery.

No, it's not. I cannot prejudge of Italy but it's about the mid season in the Alps. It started fairly late this year. Layers of mixed ice and snow that used to appear in October become rare and the snow layer fallen in early December was damaged by a strong South wind. However seasons in large resorts usually start on the first week end of December for a period they say should last 135 days. I will go in January when schools and universities have no holidays. Great resorts managed to make British people as well as an international clientele come (Russians GRRRR !) but this year there should be less British skiers. In February, a "domestic" clientele comes because of school holidays. The administration shared the country in 3 zones decades ago to allow skiers to time share apartments (one zone get holidays after another). At the end of the 3rd zone holidays (9th of March, 2020), they still organize Spring ski. Resorts decide if they change the date of closure in April (or earlier if there is no longer snow).

I am no longer used to seeing so much snow. There used to be that much in low altitude resorts a few decades ago. Since I go skiing in January, I don't see that much snow even in higher altitude resorts (I will rent an apartment at 2100 m high). This month, low altitude resorts lost all the snow they had in early December. They can't activate the snow-making machines since it's not cold enough. Mountain bikes are allowed where there should be skiers.

@CragR : do you want me to bring back a few pics to post them here ?

Late February seemed pretty late in Italy, they referred to it as spring.
There was plenty of snow and it was fine on the groomers but off piste was not any good.
Not sure if off piste is not great in Europe compared to Canada, I mostly only hear about Chamonix in that regard.
Canada it will stay close to -10C from December through February which keeps the snow really good.
Outside that it still gets very cold at night so that also usually helps.

Sure we can start a general ski thread in the Fish box forum.
I have many non ladyboy related ski pics.

You rock man, skiing with ladyboys in Italy and Alberta where next ? fuck me man I'm going to write a song about you Lol!! With a little saskatchewan twang

[Rockheart]

Sorry for the delay.
So after skiing for the day we went back to the car then went into the town of Alleghe to find something to eat.
It was about 5pm now but after searching the town we could not find anywhere that served food at this time.
This is what we found very strange that no one eats until after 8pm around these parts. In North America and Thailand you can eat anywhere anytime.
Europe i'm not sure how they stay fed sometimes.

Anyways we got a few pics by the lake in Alleghe before we went back to our hotel.

So i wanted to go see what a really big ski resort was like.
In Canada, there is some big mountains but we do not have massive ski resorts with dozens of lifts and gondolas.
Other than whistler, most ski resorts have less than 10 lifts.
So I found the Alta Badia Ski resort located at Corvara, South Tyrolia nearby. They call it mountain of Dreams....
https://www.altabadia.org/en/winter-...lta-badia.html

altabadia.jpg

This place has over 50 lifts including about 6-8 gondolas.
The hill is large but very still does not have much challenging off piste skiing as we see in Canada.
Groomed runs seem to be the Italian favourite.

This ski resort is part of the Sellaronda which is a circle of many many ski resorts that you can ski around in day, or more.
You could actually tour the whole area of Italy on skis and just stay in hotels along the way. You can see all the lifts everywhere.
Where we were staying was connected but the circle was broken due to lifts that were down.

The resort was huge and busy, so we had to park a ways away. We got our passes and got set to go check it out.

We skied around a bit but Cake was quite sore from the past days skiing.
She was post op and was taking no kind of hormones at the time. So recovery was slow i'm sure.

After a while we decided to stop for something to eat. We found a great on hill restaurant that you could only get to by a certain ski lift.
The girl working as cashier said Cake was one of the most beautiful girls she had ever seen!

We got some real European fare of sausages and saurkraut and strudel. Plus chicken and fries. Cake always gets chicken and fries i seems.
Plus for some reason when i'm with Thai ladyboys we always order tons of food, I think they always eat more than me.

Cake posed with sausages like some sort of Bavarian serving girl.

Anyhow a pretty fun day of skiing, even though the actual skiing was pretty lame itself.

So after that our ski portion of the Italy trip was over. Cake and I left our Chalet and headed on our way to Venice, which was about a 2 hour drive.
We stopped along the way at a scenic spot to take a few pics. Also a few pics from Venice, but that is a different story.
I never thought of Venice as a ski town but it is very close to the ski resorts.
Also during my 2 week trip in Italy I got $800 in parking tickets and $1200 in traffic tickets. Italy is a huge scam for foreign drivers, you can't know all the rules and once you leave it is hard to contest them.
I got a $300 ticket for going 31 kph in a 30 kph zone.

So the next ladyboy ski trip was with my friend Shyla Wild who is from Montreal. Shyla is a snow boarder and jumped on the chance to come out west to Calgary.
Shyla is cool and fun to hang out with one of her claims to fame is her 10+ inch ski pole.
You can find out more about her and maybe take her riding here:

https://tswild.com/

We left Calgary and our first destination was Lake Louise ski resort, one of the largest resorts in Canada.
It is a huge hill with hundreds of runs and also is a stop on the World Cup Ski tour.

We got Shyla stable on her board, then we took her to the black run called the Rock Garden.
This run is known for it's snow covered rocks where we practiced our small jumps and had some fun.
Soon the spring sun had Shyla opening up her ski wear to cool off her body. The monster makes a brief appearance.

Overall a fun day at the lake.

Ho nice pictures! want to go skiing now

Thanks for sharing

[Rockheart]

So after the skiing we headed back to our hotel in Banff. Shyla relaxed by the fireplace with a cup of hot cocoa.
Then a full scale photoshoot begins.

The next day Shyla was kind of sore because this was her first ever day riding i the mountains.
So decided to skip skiing for one day as we had several days left.

Instead we went over the Chateau Lake Louise a very famous old hotel.
There we went skating on the lake for bit and got some pictures.

https://www.fairmont.com/lake-louise/

Then we went over to Johnston Canyon to check out the caves and frozen waterfalls.

So the next day we headed off to ski at Panorama Mountain Village in British Columbia. This is probably my favourite place to ski and is just over 2 hours to drive from Lake Louise.

pano.jpg

After we stopped at the summit hut for a coffee and took some shots at the top. One of the best views of any resort, which is why it is called Panorama.
