Ha! i must be really backward...
I just used MSPaint and, use the rotate and resize options and save as jpeg.
Works fine. So far.

Same with Adobe Photoshop Elements, click save as then select large, medium or small file and click save.

I agree to Stogie bear, less is more.

In the last few weeks I tried many sites, tools and programs and IMHO the best resizing and uploading tool is part of www.imageshack.us
There u can download a free firefox imageshack toolbar and u can just drag and drop images and change preferences to autoresize the pictures... Its so easy and comfortable to handle.

e.g. resized from 1,3 MB to < 100 kb by imageshack

he's right, it plays all kinds of files too, even mp3 if you get the full plug in package, I occasionaly use it to view vids. It downsizes with the sharpest look. I use an old LViewPro most things (like screen capture) but Irfanview is IT for sharp downsize, sometimes "best fit to desktop" works best. Also if you have a directory fulla pics and you open in Irfanview, and doubleclick it makes the pic destop size then you can cycle thru them all (even deleting pics you don't want) by hitting the -> arrow. I use it a lot like when I come home from LOS with 1400 pics to go thru and resize for my pic site. I'm a luddite so simple is for me. Won't go NEAR photoshop, etc. Don't need cutesy sepia effects n such, tho IV has a few.

sorry to be a pain in butt - can someone please help me - I have figured out the resizer but I don't know how to attach an image to my note. I am sure it is simple - what am I missing? Thx
