#1. Use the elevator/lift if you go to MBK, thus avoiding the "gold" floor.

When you go to MBK from the National Staium BTS station you walk along the bridge into Tokyo department store.

Most people then walk through Tokyo and go out of the door straight into the main part of MBK  -  past the gold shops.   Damn clever these Chinese!    

But if you keep walking straight ahead inside Tokyo you come to their escalators inside the shop.  Take them up to the next floor  -  or the one above  -  and you can walk into MBK missing the gold shops
