 i actually did Cyprus before i went to N. Ireland, I didn't really understand what was going on at either destination.
 I used to go out in Nicosia alot, about 2-3 times a week, there were some clubs in those days, one was called the "Crazy Horse Saloon" half cabaret half strip joint, had some great fun there, & of course there were some sleazy bars as well. I even remeber the odd Thai GG working the clubs in tho's days too. But now its nearly all Russian, Romanian, Ukraine etc
 Larnika we managed possibly once a week at the weekends, there very few hotels down the coast between Larnika & Farmagusta, i think Nisi beach was the only one. At the time Larnika was Cypriot & Farmagusta was Turkish. I remember the food was great & all the locals seemed friendly enough. Never had any trouble, except for shooting over no mans land & thru' our workshop wall & roof, we had a mixed civilian workforce & I can't remember them being at each others throats over anything. Quite enjoyed the whole tour. Alot more so than the tour I did Kenya the following year!Robin
