ive got thousands of pics but most of the,m are slides ectacrome and kodacrome so im not sure how to cfopy them to cd etc?? any ideas apreciated

Yeah, there are such things as 'slide scanners'.  Some regular scanners have them built-in or as in included add-on.

These photos are absolutely fantastic, I posted a while back to see if anyone had any old photos, its easy to get them put on a CD from a photshop, even withut negatives, if you have any more please put them up.

Yeah my HP scanner can do slides and film. Those slides even if there from 1984 should scan really clear.

What you might like to try to do is if you have a slide projector is to project them onto a screen and try to take a photo of the image on the screen with a digital camera with the flash turned off. It might just work out very well.
