I'll let you guys in on a little secret -- A week ago I picked up a left-handed guitar. Figgered I'd give it one more try, switched around my natural way, 'fore giving up any lingering hope of ever learning to play a musical instrument. Just been futzing around so far, trying to get down basic strumming, chords, repeating the chromatic scale, etc.(kahuna @ Apr. 21 2011,15:52) I have shoes like those...
Doing scales can get tedious (1-2-3-4-repeat; imagine the sound of walking up stairs)...
...and so to spice things up, you start to write your first masterpieces as you're practicing this walking-up-the-stairs scale. And today I was inspired to write my first song!
I named it, "Kahuna", and it goes like this:
Gay-gay-gay-gay...
Gay-gay-gay-gay...
Gay-gay-gay-gay...
Gay-gay-gay-gay...
[Repeat]
