I'm currently doing a BFA in Photography in a local university!
Today we had our first 3D design class and we were tasked to explore various ways of manipulating a flat sheet of paper to present a 3-dimensional form.

August is the Pride month for Singapore- our GLBT month-long event, Indignation, is packed with forums that discusses GLBT issues, film screenings, games-day and outdoor activities.

I am happy that they've started to include more transgender issues into the event because I feel that transgenders, unlike gay or bisexual people, are more likely to stand out in society for apparent reasons!

I attended an open forum talk with 4 FTM speakers (2 of which are rather charismatic!) and also a mandarin forum that discusses gender stereotypes of 'sissies & tomboys", rather than the commonly known transgenders, represented in mass media.

I was sitting in the front row and one of the speakers, who happened to be a good friend of mine, invited me to share my daily experience as a boy-inbetween-genders on public transport and public spaces. The moderator later wanted to illustrate some points on mass media and he wanted to say "xinwen meiTI (news media)" and he ended up saying "xinwen MEITUI (news gorgeous legs)" instead!!! It was hilarious!!!!!! But I guess the joke's only funny if you understand mandarin
