    Someone's gotta make me smile.
I am not sure I can deliver.

But Nat King Cole, has a few perspectives:
"...in a restless world like this is;  love is ended before its begun, ..."

Another perspective, might be the following advertising slogan that possibly was pitched, to Seven-Eleven/Philippines:

    "Problems in your life?
    Seven-Eleven has beer on sale.
And the price is only 35 pesos per bottle. "
"I don´t know what to do. Losing sleep. Kicked from a chatroom on a board about worshipping young transsexual prostitutes.
I´ve my fair share of disapointments and hardtimes in my life, but this....."

A letter I've received from a company I worked with:

Ok, I should just share with you without beating about the bush.
My Boss and other heads are not comfortable about you turning up for meetings/rehearsal in the office in cross-dressing.
As they are official duties and work related, they hope you could dress up like how you would be in schools.
I am sure you would understand their sentiments.
Believe me, they are not judging or discriminating anyone but there are boundaries and structure to maintain at work and during work and respect for each other's comfort in a professional working environment.
              Please bear with us.

                  My response

Thank you for the email and being straightforward with me.

In response to this situation, let me explain how I work with touring school shows:
I wear jeans/bermudas and tee shirts in accordance to the general dress code we're familiar with schools.
For other companies, there are no specific requests about my hair but I keep it neat and tidy naturally.
As you have expressed your concerns to me, I have acceded to tying up my hair in ponytail but not to wearing a cap in addition as I feel that request infringes further than necessary. I thank you for your understanding with regards to my dress code to schools.

However, this email pertains to my dress code during rehearsals/meetings in the office. I assume this extends to any visits I make, official duties or not, to the office. The request is for me to maintain the dress code I've adhered to when visiting schools, for reasons that are very clear, but to also extend it to my official duties in the office, that is to say, rehearsals and meetings.

However, you've explained that the staff at XXX are uncomfortable with my dresscode. I was, however, appropriately dressed. I would also like to stress that I do not dress the way I do to provoke any negative response and for that, I apologise for any distress caused. Yes, there are boundaries and structure to maintain at work in a professional working environment. In this case, I will limit my involvement in the show to the actual school shows itself. We have finished our rehearsals for GX and HX, and we also have the video CD to refer to. My response and decision to this situation is not meant to demean anyone but to protect my individual rights.

I hope my colleagues at XXX understand where I'm coming from and more importantly, gain an insight about transgender equality.

                  *******************

A cap?! They might as well put a bag over my head and doodle a moustache on it with Crayola.

GOD. If we had rights, I would have majorly sued their asses over.

Oops, that wasn't very ladylike... lol

".....boundaries and structure to maintain at work..." and "not comfortable about.....cross-dressing."

If that letter was written by an American company to one of their employees, that company would be sued for sexual harassment sooooooooo fast. Your response was excellent though.

I would say .. regardless on where the company origin from, its the ASIAN mentality that has not accepted TS as part of their lives..

I guess only country in this region who does show a bit of appreciation of is Thailand...

Could that be considered a fetish?

                            Or,

He: "Honey, no sex tonight,  I have a headache."

She: "But I will be wearing the "bag with the doodled moustache".

                            He: Hold all calls!
